Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimeno Luar in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uriel Etxatxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Acetil Co A's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Luar came free, but Uriel Etxatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Defensores del Sur's Bruno Lando got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 minutes, Hermengildo Etxekopar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores del Sur and the Acetil Co A players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nestor Escobar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Truylos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Alejandro Porfiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romeo Truylos. Defensores del Sur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Porfiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Romeo Truylos stood somewhat misplaced when Virgilio Ikatz came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 55 minute. 61 minutes into the match, Defensores del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Escobar came free, but Romeo Truylos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Truylos made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Nestor Escobar sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Jimeno Luar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uriel Etxatxu was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Nestor Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Truylos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes in the game, Virgilio Ikatz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Romeo Truylos having to interfere. Romeo Truylos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 98thth minute of the game Jimeno Luar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acetil Co A's Uriel Etxatxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Acetil Co A had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
