Francisco Sarracino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Segurola AFC. Silvestre Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Sarracino having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Segurola AFC's zone, Fermin Matia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Astrada came out of the goal and Fermin Matia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodosio Danel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Astrada having to make a save. Roberto Azeari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Sarracino having to interfere. The supporters of Segurola AFC booed when La vecindad de Paz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Ihazintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Segurola AFC's goalkeeper Narciso Astrada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Narciso Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Matia in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Rafael Raymond shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Sarracino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Roberto Azeari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Fermin Matia took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Narciso Astrada to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Matia in the 71st minute of play forced Segurola AFC's goalkeeper Narciso Astrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Astrada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Danel in the 72nd minute. Narciso Astrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Matia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Sarracino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Segurola AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
