After 43 minutes, Adrian Leoiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballester AFC and the Yapeyú AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ballester AFC's Adrian Leoiar got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baltasar Rojelio to make the kick off. Benigno Porfirio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Raebert in the 54th minute of play. Froilan Dantae kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Julio Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Enzo Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Porfirio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Froilan Dantae fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballester AFC's protests and gave Froilan Dantae a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ballester AFC's Froilan Dantae got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 74 played minutes Yapeyú AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Ilazki. After 92 minutes of play, Yapeyú AFC's Enzo Raebert made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Porfirio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballester AFC's goalkeeper Benigno Porfirio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ballester AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
