After a defensive mix-up in Yapeyú AFC's zone, Abel Sanduru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Inautzi came out of the goal and Abel Sanduru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Enzo Raebert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chi Bain was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The attack was good, but when Enzo Raebert in the 21st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Enzo Raebert kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Chi Bain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Cugat, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Abel Sanduru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Javier Inautzi made a huge save. When Enzo Raebert fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yapeyú AFC's protests and gave Enzo Raebert a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Yapeyú AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Raebert. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsenio Mero during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tocala FC's Arsenio Mero got a free kick in the 44th minute. Chi Bain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Raebert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Tocala FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yapeyú AFC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Arsenio Mero made the kick off in the second half. Yapeyú AFC's Javier Inautzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Sanduru in the 58th minute of play. Arsenio Mero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Javier Inautzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Inautzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Sanduru in the 61st minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play, Tocala FC's Arsenio Mero made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Inautzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 69 played minutes, Tocala FC's Aquilino Astudillo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Javier Inautzi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tocala FC reached it. Elvio Osoitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chi Bain. Tocala FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Abel Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Cugat was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 87th minute, Arsenio Mero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Julio Cugat came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Yapeyú AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Cugat couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Enzo Raebert fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
