With a little luck, Casbas FC's Honorio Ciceron got control of the ball when Feliberto Firme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leandro Sayvion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Muno in the 29th minute of the match. Haroldo Muno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes Gimnsia de Jujuy got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Clemencin. Carlos Maura struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Leandro Sayvion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casbas FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Maura in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Sayvion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Albino Francho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leandro Sayvion was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Carlos Maura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Sayvion having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haroldo Muno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Feliberto Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleto Theodore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Ciceron having to interfere. Honorio Ciceron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Theodore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Gimnsia de Jujuy's zone, Carlos Maura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Sayvion came out of the goal and Carlos Maura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Paulo Clemencin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Maura got free with Leandro Sayvion in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gimnsia de Jujuy's goalkeeper Leandro Sayvion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leandro Sayvion made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Carlos Maura sent off a good shot on target. Haroldo Muno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Sayvion having to interfere. If Haroldo Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gimnsia de Jujuy's Cleto Theodore in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Casbas FC's goalie prevented a goal. 90 minutes into the game, Haroldo Muno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leandro Sayvion. Haroldo Muno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Casbas FC's Carlos Maura got a free kick in the 96th minute. Feliberto Firme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
