Ramon Cristofol hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Osvaldo Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gihón FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ramon Cristofol in the 24th minute. The corner led Gihón FC's Ramon Cristofol to fire away a dangerous shot which Celedonio Laurendi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Espinola Raiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Celedonio Laurendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gihón FC's Espinola Raiz got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dobre Vata struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Celedonio Laurendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gihón FC. In the 37th minute, Espinola Raiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobre Vata in the 42nd minute of play forced Cochangasta AFC's goalkeeper Celedonio Laurendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Espinola Raiz to make the kick off. Lorenzo Nofre was a little too slow when Osvaldo Handi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-1. Marciano Lando charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marciano Lando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gihón FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Marciano Lando hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Cochangasta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Espinola Raiz came free, but Celedonio Laurendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Cristofol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cochangasta AFC's Celedonio Laurendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Espinola Raiz in the 67th minute of play. Cochangasta AFC's Osvaldo Handi got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Gihón FC's Espinola Raiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celedonio Laurendi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Espinola Raiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cochangasta AFC's Celedonio Laurendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Espinola Raiz in the 85th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, Gihón FC's Ramon Cristofol made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celedonio Laurendi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gihón FC's Espinola Raiz in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cochangasta AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Espinola Raiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gihón FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
