Leandro Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Manex in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the LaBarloneTa FC defense, Feliberto Firme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meta Gamba. The LaBarloneTa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meta Gamba should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Gimnsia de Jujuy's Cleto Theodore got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 25 minutes, Nicanor Cristofol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LaBarloneTa FC and the Gimnsia de Jujuy players grew even worse after the yellow card. 28 minutes into the game, one of LaBarloneTa FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Gimnsia de Jujuy's Higinio Manni got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Meta Gamba. Meta Gamba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Millan in the 33rd minute. Leandro Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Cristofol in the 34th minute of play. If Cleto Theodore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacinto Manex fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Sayvion having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Gimnsia de Jujuy's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Cristofol came free, but Leandro Sayvion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Millan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Meta Gamba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cleto Theodore went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jacinto Manex received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Leandro Sayvion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Sayvion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Fernandez in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, LaBarloneTa FC's Nicanor Cristofol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leandro Sayvion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feliberto Firme took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Meta Gamba. Meta Gamba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Paulo Clemencin hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Manex in the 84th minute of play forced Gimnsia de Jujuy's goalkeeper Leandro Sayvion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Firme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meta Gamba having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gimnsia de Jujuy had won after a very even match.
