Cantona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Iban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Du Sausois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Iban in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Du Sausois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Ruben Petrigai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SSC Napoli's zone, Leopoldo Iban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Du Sausois came out of the goal and Leopoldo Iban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe Lamberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Orlandus having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ariel Elequemedo was the one to do the kick off. When Cantona FC's Leopoldo Iban in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ariel Senen hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes SSC Napoli got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Elequemedo.
