Felipe Lamberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Gimnsia de Jujuy defense, Ariel Elequemedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Sayvion. The Gimnsia de Jujuy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Sayvion should have stopped the shot. Ariel Elequemedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leandro Sayvion having to make a save. In the 18th minute, Benito Barto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Feliberto Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ariel Elequemedo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Sayvion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Felipe Lamberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Sayvion was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 34th match minute, SSC Napoli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Petrigai to maneuver through the defense. Tom Du Sausois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Theodore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Lamberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SSC Napoli played a much better game than Gimnsia de Jujuy and deserved their victory. The Gimnsia de Jujuy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
