Flavio Ilixo hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as La tricolor's Angelino Pedroso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felix Calvino. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. Albano Derwin's late challenge caught a La tricolor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albano Derwin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, El Boca Juniors's Albano Derwin got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, La tricolor's Mariano Chaime dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. La tricolor's Angelino Pedroso was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Albano Derwin got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. La tricolor's Remigio Isadore was substituted for Prospero Gimenez. A collision led to El Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Albano Derwin hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltasar Geofredo during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mariano Chaime succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hipolito Domenec to strike the kick off in the second half. Angelino Pedroso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Calvino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Felix Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Chaime, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Mariano Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Calvino having to interfere. Felix Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Angelino Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to La tricolor getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rodolfo Orland hit a great ball. If Mariano Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Angelino Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Baltasar Geofredo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. The referee ignored El Boca Juniors's protests and gave Hipolito Domenec a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes El Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Domenec. Mariano Chaime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Felix Calvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelino Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Calvino having to interfere. Edgard Donzel hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Felix Calvino came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by La tricolor's Angelino Pedroso. But to his dismay, Angelino Pedroso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. El Boca Juniors's Felix Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Pedroso in the 94th minute of play. La tricolor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
