Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luis Ledesma kicked off to start the match. Jorge Mero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Napier in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Skorpions FC booed when Paquitos y Amorosos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Garaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Paquitos y Amorosos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Haitz to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Skorpions FC's Gustavo Udalaitz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Armando Haitz was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Luis Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Savier having to interfere. With a little luck, Paquitos y Amorosos's Arnoldo Savier got control of the ball when Timoteo Raebert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paquitos y Amorosos's Arnoldo Savier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Ledesma in the 21st minute of play. Santos Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Mero having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Timoteo Raebert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skorpions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Raebert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Paquitos y Amorosos getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Venancio Bembe hit a great ball. If Santos Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blas Aguirre hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of Paquitos y Amorosos booed when Skorpions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Geleberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Jairo Curcio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Mero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Timoteo Raebert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Savier having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Paquitos y Amorosos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Shepherd came free, but Arnoldo Savier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Napier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timoteo Raebert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Savier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Luis Ledesma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timoteo Raebert struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Arnoldo Savier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skorpions FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Ledesma in the 72nd minute of play forced Paquitos y Amorosos's goalkeeper Arnoldo Savier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Ledesma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Savier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Timoteo Raebert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Arnoldo Savier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Venancio Bembe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paquitos y Amorosos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skorpions FC the free kick. Cesar Salbatore lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 83rd minute, one of Paquitos y Amorosos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Paquitos y Amorosos. 92 minutes into the match, Luis Ledesma notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Paquitos y Amorosos's Arnoldo Savier. Arnoldo Savier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Luis Ledesma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Savier was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Skorpions FC had played much better football throughout.
