In the 16thth minute of the game Nicolas Menendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZionTeam's Benedicto Micael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolas Menendo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Benedicto Micael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Temperley. When Osvaldo Unai fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Temperley's protests and gave Osvaldo Unai a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes CA Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Unai. The supporters of ZionTeam booed when CA Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Tiniebra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Baumer, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Menendo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Micael saved ZionTeam from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, ZionTeam's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Menendo came free, but Benedicto Micael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Honesto kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Gai during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, ZionTeam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Gai to maneuver through the defense. If Nicolas Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Macias hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elpidio Amato was the one to do the kick off. Marcelino Jerico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Benedicto Micael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Nicolas Menendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Temperley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Menendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Erramu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With 58 minutes on the clock, Hector Tiniebra commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 58 minutes into the game, one of CA Temperley:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. CA Temperley:s Laureano Erramu showed great skill when he stopped Angelo Baumer:s penalty. In the 63rd minute, Narciso Macias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedicto Micael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Menendo's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute of the match Cristian Jaunzuria sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benedicto Micael skillfully saved the ball. Laureano Erramu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Botello went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. ZionTeam's Benedicto Micael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Menendo in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, ZionTeam's Benedicto Micael got control of the ball when Nicolas Menendo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Marcelino Jerico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Menendo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedicto Micael. Nicolas Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, CA Temperley's Nicolas Menendo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedicto Micael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Laureano Erramu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Macias in the 98th minute of play. In the 98th match minute, CA Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Jerico to maneuver through the defense. CA Temperley were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ZionTeam to leave the ground with a draw.
