Damian Aguirre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Menendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, La tricolor's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Menendo came free, but Damian Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Menendo in the 40th minute of play forced La tricolor's goalkeeper Damian Aguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CA Temperley's Cristian Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Prospero Gimenez might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laureano Erramu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Gimenez ran back to his position shaking his head. Augusto Gartzea made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CA Temperley's Daniel Esquipula. CA Temperley's attentive Daniel Esquipula managed to snatch the ball when Augusto Gartzea made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Angelino Pedroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Laureano Erramu made a huge save. After 91 played minutes La tricolor got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Pedroso. Isidro Toribio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 96 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the match, La tricolor's Prospero Gimenez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La tricolor walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
