With a left leg Benedicto Micael saved ZionTeam from getting behind. After 8 minutes ZionTeam's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucio Emesto who took care of the corner kick. Albano Derwin hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Higinio Botello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Felix Calvino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Higinio Botello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Calvino having to interfere. A collision led to ZionTeam getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rene Honesto hit a great ball. Hipolito Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Micael having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, ZionTeam's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Brun came free, but Benedicto Micael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in El Boca Juniors's zone, Elpidio Amato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Calvino came out of the goal and Elpidio Amato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Medero hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Felix Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Amato in the 43rd minute of play. Higinio Botello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Felix Calvino made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raul Brun to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, El Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Botello came free, but Felix Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Micael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, El Boca Juniors's Baltasar Geofredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedicto Micael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Botello in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Calvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Raul Brun fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benedicto Micael, passed just outside the right post. Hipolito Domenec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hipolito Domenec scored 0-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedicto Micael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 98th minute Elpidio Amato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
