In the 22nd minute, Tadeo Enol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Haroldo Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huracán FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Elizardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Mosen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Argina in the 35th minute of play forced Huracán FC's goalkeeper Guillermo Magdaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Enol struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Geronimo Mosen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huracán FC. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Argina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Magdaleno was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Teobaldo Quirce charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Guillermo Magdaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Argina, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 72 played minutes Chapelco got a freekick which was hit by Joel Acuña. Geronimo Mosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Elizardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Haroldo Elizardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Mosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Haroldo Elizardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geronimo Mosen. That made the score 0-1 in the 84 minute of play. The supporters of Chapelco booed when Huracán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Magdaleno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Cuartio went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.
