An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Elija in the 19th minute of play forced Trapiche AFC's goalkeeper Norberto Gorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 51 played minutes Panambí got a freekick which was hit by Hector Gilesindo. 54 minutes into the match, Trapiche AFC's goalkeeper Norberto Gorri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Gilesindo. Arsenio Vermudo's late challenge caught a Trapiche AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Vermudo helped the player get up and apologised. 59 minutes into the match, Trapiche AFC's Omar Jerico broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. In the 82nd minute, Panambí's Celedonio Elija ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Norberto Gorri. Norberto Gorri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. 86 minutes into the match, Trapiche AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Elija came free, but Norberto Gorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Gilesindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Norberto Gorri made a huge save. Trapiche AFC's Norberto Gorri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Elija in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Trapiche AFC's Ramiro Joachim got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Celedonio Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Trapiche AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Panambí's performance. The match ended with a win for Panambí.
