Spectators: 7254 (Terracing: 5442, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) Bajastine's Teodosio Aztore started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Aurinegro Bahiense's zone, Arturo Arotza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Balasi came out of the goal and Arturo Arotza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th match minute, Aurinegro Bahiense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Rencio to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th play minute Angelino Honrio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Francisco Celio. 1-0. Aurinegro Bahiense's Tadeo Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Aztore in the 12th minute of play. Ivan Vistruario hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Arturo Arotza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tadeo Balasi. Aurinegro Bahiense's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The corner led Bajastine's Teodosio Aztore to fire away a dangerous shot which Tadeo Balasi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Teodosio Aztore sped through Aurinegro Bahiense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeo Balasi. In the 20th match minute, Bajastine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Urbasa to maneuver through the defense. If Teodosio Aztore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Aurinegro Bahiense booed when Bajastine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Misael didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 minutes, Arturo Arotza made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Aurinegro Bahiense's Tadeo Balasi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodosio Aztore in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeo Balasi saved Aurinegro Bahiense from getting behind. 1-3 became the score in the 39th minute when Teodosio Aztore elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tadeo Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Lopes in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Teodosio Aztore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Aurinegro Bahiense players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bajastine were winning 1-3.

Teodosio Aztore who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Tadeo Balasi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tadeo Balasi made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Teodosio Aztore sent off a good shot on target. Tadeo Balasi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Aztore in the 61st minute. Bajastine made a substitution. Eusebio Goiz replaced Joaquin Gutxi. After a rather tough play, Aurinegro Bahiense's Jacinto Rencio got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bajastine's Arturo Arotza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tadeo Balasi. That made the score 1-6 after 73 minutes of play. Teodosio Aztore struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Tadeo Balasi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bajastine. When Teodosio Aztore came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Bajastine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio Aztore couldn't finish the play. After 93 minutes of play, Bajastine's Teodosio Aztore made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeo Balasi was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Aurinegro Bahiense's Tadeo Balasi got control of the ball when Teodosio Aztore tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Bajastine could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aurinegro Bahiense throughout the match.
