If Honorato Kismi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, El Mirasol's Nestor Orlandus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damaso Quin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacinto Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Quin having to interfere. The referee ignored monoqueando FC's protests and gave Cristian Joseph a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in monoqueando FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Conrado Elodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Felipe Francis notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of El Mirasol's Nicolas Bela. Nicolas Bela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half monoqueando FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute Nestor Orlandus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Quin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Bela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Francis in the 54th minute of the match. Conrado Elodio in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolas Bela, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nicolas Bela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Francis in the 58th minute of play. When Miguel Mantzio fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. When Conrado Elodio came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the monoqueando FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Elodio couldn't finish the play. Felipe Francis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolas Bela having to make a save. Nestor Orlandus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Bela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Felipe Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nicolas Bela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Francis in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Bela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. monoqueando FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
