Ildefonso Cerilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Gorri having to interfere. Ildefonso Cerilo's late challenge caught a Tordos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ildefonso Cerilo helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes LANUS FC got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Cerilo. 45 minutes into the game, Tordos FC's Felix Gorka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gogo Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Emeterio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samuel Selmo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Gogo Azevedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Evaristo Obano fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LANUS FC's protests and gave Evaristo Obano a yellow card for diving instead. When Felix Gorka came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Tordos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Gorka couldn't finish the play. Samuel Selmos short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Gogo Azevedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gogo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Emeterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Felix Gorka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Felix Gorka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Selmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Gogo Azevedo made a huge save.
