Flavio Cutberto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15thth minute of the game Nestor Fresco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LANUS FC's Gogo Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Perrando during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Independiente Beltran booed when LANUS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Ciro Jurdan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gogo Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Independiente Beltran's Flavio Cutberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gogo Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gogo Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Cutberto's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When Flavio Cutberto came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Independiente Beltran fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Cutberto couldn't finish the play. When Severino Perrando was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. A collision led to LANUS FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Severino Perrando hit a great ball. Ciro Jurdan shot from long distance in the 64th minute, but Gogo Azevedo was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. LANUS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Cutberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 96 minutes into the game, Lucas Lluciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente Beltran's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LANUS FC the free kick. Severino Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Independiente Beltran had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
