Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Achiras AFC's Ovidio Berbiz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, one of Achiras AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Achiras AFC. Abelardo Garoa struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Leonardo Oriche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atl. Libertador. 13 minutes into the game, Ramon Mon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Achiras AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atl. Libertador the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Achiras AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Atl. Libertador. Simon Lorencio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonardo Oriche. 0-2. Leonardo Oriche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Orixe in the 20th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Ovidio Berbiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Orlondo. Atl. Libertador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidio Berbiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 38th play minute Ovidio Berbiz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Placido Orlondo. 2-2. Julio Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Oriche having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abelardo Garoa was the one to do the kick off. Ovidio Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ovidio Berbiz in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Placido Orlondo saved Atl. Libertador from getting behind. Placido Orlondo came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Achiras AFC's Horacio Vachon. But to his dismay, Horacio Vachon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The supporters of Achiras AFC booed when Atl. Libertador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Donzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Placido Orlondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Vachon in the 60th minute of play. Horacio Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Atl. Libertador's Primitivo Muno got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Ramon Mon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Placido Orlondo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 70 played minutes Atl. Libertador got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Tabb. Placido Orlondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Vachon in the 75th minute of play. Ovidio Berbiz succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-2. Abelardo Garoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Oriche having to interfere. Ovidio Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Achiras AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atl. Libertador for a fine match.
