But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Peruxu couldn't finish the play. Samuel Sabino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Filomeno Birjaio made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Uturungo's zone, Norberto Marino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Birjaio came out of the goal and Norberto Marino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Marino during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes, Uturungo's Hector Victoro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Antonio Ralondo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uturungo reached it. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Norberto Marino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Javier Peruxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Birjaio having to interfere. Rodolfo Nayely kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Antonio Ralondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Oliverios, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Uturungo's Ruben Nastasio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Ralondo narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Sabino to strike the kick off in the second half. Norberto Marino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. After 62 minutes of play, San Andreas's Samuel Sabino made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filomeno Birjaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filomeno Birjaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedicto Oliverios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Antonio Ralondo made a huge save. Hector Victoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Antonio Ralondo made a huge save. When Norberto Marino came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the San Andreas fans jumped to their feet. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for San Andreas. Valentin Duarte stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Filomeno Birjaio. 3-0. In the 95th minute, Benedicto Oliverios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 98 minutes into the match, Norberto Marino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filomeno Birjaio. Uturungo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Marino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. San Andreas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
