Genaro Eguerdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, one of Guardamonte:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guardamonte. After 12 minutes of play, Guardamonte's Carolo Papo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rosendo Mambru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rosendo Mambru came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Guardamonte's Carolo Papo. But to his dismay, Carolo Papo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 30 played minutes El gen Gallardo 3-1-3-1.. got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Quentin. In the 31st minute Genaro Eguerdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Mambru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Montay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Savion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Mauro Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Savion having to interfere. Arturo Millrick kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, El gen Gallardo 3-1-3-1.. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Procopio to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Veremundo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clemente Savion. Guardamonte's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Montay was the one to do the kick off. With splendid footwork Prospero Montay arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-2 by the left pole in the game's 53rd minute. Prospero Montay struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Clemente Savion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El gen Gallardo 3-1-3-1... Prospero Montay was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 59th minute, Fabio Sesuldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prospero Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Savion having to interfere. Clemente Savion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Azevedo in the 62nd minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Genaro Eguerdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El gen Gallardo 3-1-3-1..'s Rosendo Mambru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paolo Manilan kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Prospero Montay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Savion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Mauro Azevedo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mauro Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Millrick was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guardamonte fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! The El gen Gallardo 3-1-3-1.. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El gen Gallardo 3-1-3-1.. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
