After a defensive mix-up in Mateoli F.C's zone, Teodoro Orkatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Matthew came out of the goal and Teodoro Orkatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodoro Orkatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Matthew having to interfere. Apolo Txanton struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Emanuel Matthew didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hormiguero. Alejo Lordi lost his temper 10 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Filomeno Ezkerra hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Mateoli F.C defense, Edelmiro Naelio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Matthew. The Mateoli F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Matthew should have stopped the shot. Hormiguero's Teodoro Orkatz got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Narciso Fix came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Hormiguero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Fix couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Matthew showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Nesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Teodoro Orkatz scored 0-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Matthew, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40thth minute of the game Teodoro Orkatz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mateoli F.C's Emanuel Matthew was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Orkatz in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Matthew prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Matthew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Fix in the 45th minute of play. The Mateoli F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hormiguero were winning 0-3.

Emanuel Matthew showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Orkatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Emanuel Matthew successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Hormiguero booed when Mateoli F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Rocio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Teodoro Orkatz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hormiguero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mateoli F.C the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Narciso Jon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mateoli F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. If Teodoro Orkatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Narciso Jon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Adrian Aurken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Hormiguero's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Jon came free, but Adrian Aurken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Mateoli F.C's goalkeeper Emanuel Matthew had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Orkatz. Edelmiro Naelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Emanuel Matthew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Hormiguero's Teodoro Orkatz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Narciso Jon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Matthew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Orkatz in the 86th minute of the match. Teodoro Orkatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Emanuel Matthew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Teodoro Orkatz took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Emanuel Matthew to make any attempt to save it. Hormiguero played a much better game than Mateoli F.C and deserved their victory. The Mateoli F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
