Haroldo Galoer started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match Melchor Nisio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Beltran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Haroldo Galoer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Damian Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Generoso Venceslas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Matthew. Mateoli F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Venceslas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Damian Beltran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Jon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Wilfredo Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Alfonso booed when Mateoli F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Ezkerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Jon scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Beltran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Beltran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Galoer in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Mateoli F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Lordi to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Rios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Narciso Jon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfonso's Damian Beltran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Alfonso from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Wilfredo Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfonso's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Rios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Matthew breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the game, Eloy Dalmau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mateoli F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alfonso the free kick. In the 60th minute, Eloy Dalmau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd match minute, Alfonso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Juvenal to maneuver through the defense. The nice shot from Narciso Jon in the 74thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Damian Beltran had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Haroldo Galoer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Haroldo Galoer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Matthew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Venceslas in the 87th minute of play. Damian Beltran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Galoer in the 89th minute of the match. After 91 minutes, Hector Ledesma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alfonso and the Mateoli F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Haroldo Galoer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mateoli F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Galoer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Beltran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
