Mariano Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Naike having to interfere. Generoso Sesuldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Armando Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Chuan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prudencio Pabla went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Abel Xacintu's late challenge caught a Los Halcones Ratas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Xacintu helped the player get up and apologised. Abel Xacintu kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Halcones Ratas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Generoso Sesuldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Prudencio Pabla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Chuan having to interfere. Prudencio Pabla struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Armando Chuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dennehy AFC. After 65 played minutes Los Halcones Ratas got a freekick which was hit by Roque Quinto. Armando Chuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prudencio Pabla in the 71st minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Generoso Sesuldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dennehy AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Sesuldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Tonio in the 76th minute of play. Elvio Loramendi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Generoso Sesuldo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Dennehy AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Sesuldo couldn't finish the play. Generoso Sesuldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Chuan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Generoso Sesuldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Generoso Sesuldo struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Armando Chuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dennehy AFC. Florencio Naike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Argoitz in the 96th minute of play. Dennehy AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
