Club Atlético de Milán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Piarres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filomeno Orlandus struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Juan Sancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tosquitas AFC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Piarres got free with Tomas Lucero in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnaldo Evis kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Lino Piarres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Tosquitas AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jorge Francesco hit a great ball. Lino Piarres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Tomas Lucero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Manuel Silbestre fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tosquitas AFC's protests and gave Manuel Silbestre a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Tosquitas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Silbestre to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Tosquitas AFC's goalkeeper Tomas Lucero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Piarres. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Fanuco in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Lucero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filomeno Orlandus might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Sancho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filomeno Orlandus ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Silbestre in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Godofredo Pello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tosquitas AFC's zone, Augusto Fanuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Lucero came out of the goal and Augusto Fanuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Manuel Silbestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Juan Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético de Milán's Bernardino Nikola got a free kick in the 57th minute. Braulio Barea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Juan Sancho made a huge save. Tomas Lucero came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético de Milán's Augusto Fanuco. But to his dismay, Augusto Fanuco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético de Milán's Reynaldo Vermudo got a free kick in the 64th minute. Augusto Fanuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Club Atlético de Milán's Lino Piarres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Lucero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tosquitas AFC's goalkeeper Tomas Lucero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juan Sancho made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Filomeno Orlandus sent off a good shot on target. Tosquitas AFC's Filomeno Orlandus got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Silbestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Sancho having to interfere. Juan Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Silbestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Lucero came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético de Milán's Augusto Fanuco. But to his dismay, Augusto Fanuco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atlético de Milán had won after a very even match.
