Armando Chuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Castel in the 16th minute of the match. Armando Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Castel, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute Angelino Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Bidari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Zacarias Urtun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jose Artigas C. After a defensive mix-up in Los Halcones Ratas's zone, Zacarias Urtun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Chuan came out of the goal and Zacarias Urtun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Angelino Argoitz made the kick off in the second half. Federico Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Chuan having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Jose Artigas C. F.'s Federico Castel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Chuan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jose Artigas C. F.'s Ovidio Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Argoitz in the 69th minute of play. When Federico Castel came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Jose Artigas C. F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Castel couldn't finish the play. After 75 played minutes Los Halcones Ratas got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Palben. Mariano Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Jose Artigas C. F.'s Godfredo Goizeder got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 82 played minutes Los Halcones Ratas got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Loramendi. Mariano Rivas succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Urtun in the 96th minute of play forced Los Halcones Ratas's goalkeeper Armando Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
