Los Halcones Ratas's Angelino Argoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Genaro Loi came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Atletico Regina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Loi couldn't finish the play. Julian Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Armando Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Loi kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Armando Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Loi in the 13th minute of play. If Genaro Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godofredo Alonso hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Mariano Rivas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Baldomero Naelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Atletico Regina FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Halcones Ratas:s goal. Angelino Argoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Genaro Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Roque Quinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomero Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Rivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Armando Chuan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antonio Bizi. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Loi to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Los Halcones Ratas's Elvio Loramendi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The supporters of Los Halcones Ratas booed when Atletico Regina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Guib didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Angelino Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Halcones Ratas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Argoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th match minute, Atletico Regina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Alonso to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Mariano Rivas made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Naelio. Atletico Regina FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 72 minutes into the match, Atletico Regina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Argoitz came free, but Baldomero Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Los Halcones Ratas's Eustacio Mitxel got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 89th minute, Genaro Loi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Genaro Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute, Genaro Loi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Halcones Ratas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
