After some careless play in the Tosquitas AFC defense, Mariano Rivas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Lucero. The Tosquitas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Lucero should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Los Halcones Ratas's zone, Filomeno Orlandus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Chuan came out of the goal and Filomeno Orlandus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Angelino Argoitz came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Los Halcones Ratas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Argoitz couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Tosquitas AFC's Filomeno Orlandus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Chuan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armando Chuan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Silbestre's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 24th minute, Jorge Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Tosquitas AFC booed when Los Halcones Ratas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Halcones Ratas's zone, Manuel Silbestre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Chuan came out of the goal and Manuel Silbestre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelino Argoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Lucero having to interfere. The supporters of Los Halcones Ratas booed when Tosquitas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Silbestre in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tosquitas AFC's zone, Angelino Argoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Lucero came out of the goal and Angelino Argoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Silbestre was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Argoitz in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Lucero saved Tosquitas AFC from getting behind. Tomas Lucero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Argoitz's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. A collision led to Tosquitas AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mauricio Astudillo hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Arnaldo Evis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Miguel Claude sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tosquitas AFC's Tomas Lucero didn't even have to move. Tomas Lucero came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Halcones Ratas's Angelino Argoitz. But to his dismay, Angelino Argoitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 63rd minute, Manuel Silbestre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Los Halcones Ratas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Manuel Silbestre fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tosquitas AFC's Manuel Silbestre got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauricio Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Tosquitas AFC booed when Los Halcones Ratas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Quinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Filomeno Orlandus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Halcones Ratas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
