In the 25th minute, Lino Piarres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Bidari was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Lino Piarres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Urtun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Sancho having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Zacarias Urtun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zacarias Urtun took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Sancho. Juan Sancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Fanuco was the one to do the kick off. Federico Castel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Juan Sancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godfredo Goizeder during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Godfredo Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Augusto Fanuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Piarres scored 2-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidio Bidari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Augusto Fanuco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Club Atlético de Milán's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Federico Castel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Godfredo Goizeder was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 80th match minute, Jose Artigas C. F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Goizeder to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético de Milán's Lino Piarres got a free kick in the 81st minute. Lino Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Bidari having to interfere. After 92 minutes of play, Club Atlético de Milán's Augusto Fanuco made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Bidari was left in no man's land by his defense there! 97 minutes into the game, Federico Castel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Juan Sancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Atlético de Milán's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
