When Eugenio Goito came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Lozano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Goito couldn't finish the play. Eugenio Goito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Tonio's late challenge caught a Lozano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the Dennehy AFC defense, Oscar Txatxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florencio Naike. The Dennehy AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florencio Naike should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Generoso Sesuldo made the kick off in the second half. Severo Peruanton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Sesuldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the game, Luis Ranolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lozano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dennehy AFC the free kick. Mauro Gagriel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Naike having to interfere. In the 79thth minute of the game Prudencio Pabla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lozano's Severo Peruanton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Pabla in the 81st minute of play forced Lozano's goalkeeper Severo Peruanton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Peruanton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Pabla in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Basilio Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Naike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Goito got free with Florencio Naike in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prudencio Pabla struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Severo Peruanton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dennehy AFC. If Generoso Sesuldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
