With a little luck, Lozano's Severo Peruanton got control of the ball when Tobias Txerran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tobias Txerran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Severo Peruanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Severo Peruanton throw himself and got hold of the ball when Felix Lizar in the 17thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Goito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaudencio Romo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 22 minutes, Eugenio Goito made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fundidores FC's Gaudencio Romo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Mauro Gagriel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lozano's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Gagriel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Romo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 41 minutes, Mauro Gagriel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lozano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Gagriel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tobias Txerran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Lozano's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Lizar came free, but Severo Peruanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Damaso Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Fundidores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Mendez couldn't finish the play. After the first half Lozano were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Damaso Mendez hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Basilio Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Lozano's Severo Peruanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Txerran in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Felix Lizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tobias Txerran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severo Peruanton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Eugenio Goito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Gaudencio Romo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fundidores FC's Gaudencio Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Gagriel in the 93rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernabe Guter during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Felix Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lozano's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
