To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guaberto Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BOSTERITOS FC's Vladimiro Gutxi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save BOSTERITOS FC from getting a goal against them. Hugo Ixaka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Severo Peruanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BOSTERITOS FC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Lozano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bonifacio Eneko took the corner. BOSTERITOS FC's Bonifacio Eneko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Severo Peruanton in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 27 minutes into the match, BOSTERITOS FC's Hugo Ixaka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severo Peruanton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, BOSTERITOS FC's Hugo Ixaka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The long shot by Raimundo Tiniebra in the 44th minute really tested Vladimiro Gutxi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The wind increased when Mauro Gagriel made the kick off in the second half. Leo Felipillo charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Felipillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Ixaka in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Peruanton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Lop hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Lozano's Eugenio Goito got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, one of Lozano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lozano. The goalkeeper, Severo Peruanton, was totally fooled by BOSTERITOS FC's Bonifacio Eneko, who 71 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Eugenio Goito came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Lozano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Goito couldn't finish the play. If Hugo Ixaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded BOSTERITOS FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lozano.
