Benjamin Alvarez took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Chuan. Armando Chuan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Haroldo Prejun made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Mariano Rivas sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Los Halcones Ratas's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Alvarez came free, but Armando Chuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Uriel Selatse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Alvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Chuan was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After 32 played minutes Los Halcones Ratas got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Bizen. Angelino Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benjamin Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Selatse, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. LA VIA FC's Uriel Selatse got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Argoitz to make the kick off. Haroldo Prejun came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Halcones Ratas's Mariano Rivas. But to his dismay, Mariano Rivas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Benjamin Alvarez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Armando Chuan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. LA VIA FC's Haroldo Prejun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Argoitz in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Los Halcones Ratas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Palben to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Prejun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Argoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Los Halcones Ratas's goalkeeper Armando Chuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Alvarez. Uriel Selatse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Uriel Selatse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA VIA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Selatse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Alvarez scored 1-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Chuan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LA VIA FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
