Benjamin Alvarez scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Lucero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 6th minute, Domingos Veronica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Prejun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Orlandus in the 8th minute. Tomas Lucero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Alvarez went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Benjamin Alvarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Lucero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Tomas Lucero came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by LA VIA FC's Benjamin Alvarez. But to his dismay, Benjamin Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Benjamin Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Lucero having to interfere. Tomas Lucero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Selatse in the 33rd minute of play. LA VIA FC's Benjamin Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tosquitas AFC's Tomas Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Selatse in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, LA VIA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Lluis to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Benjamin Alvarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Lucero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 45th minute Benjamin Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Lucero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Lucero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Domingues in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Silbestre to strike the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tosquitas AFC's Tomas Lucero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Tosquitas AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Manuel Silbestre made a precise shot to the right of Haroldo Prejun. LA VIA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. 65 minutes into the game, one of Tosquitas AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Benjamin Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Lucero having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tosquitas AFC's zone, Uriel Selatse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Lucero came out of the goal and Uriel Selatse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bartolo Baumer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. Uriel Selatse placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Angelino Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tosquitas AFC's zone, Benjamin Alvarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Lucero came out of the goal and Benjamin Alvarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Alvarez got free with Tomas Lucero in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamin Alvarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Tomas Lucero made a huge save. Tomas Lucero made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Benjamin Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. In the 98th minute of the match LA VIA FC got a corner. Tosquitas AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Uriel Selatse ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to LA VIA FC's Vinicio Ederono getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. LA VIA FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
