With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melchor Valente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amadeo Lamberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Ferrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 played minutes ANGELES XENEIZES got a freekick which was hit by Diego Vimaro. After a rather tough play, ANGELES XENEIZES's Gualterio Betadur got a free kick in the 14th minute. After the first half ANGELES XENEIZES were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Ferrando to make the kick off. Villa Podestá's Amadeo Lamberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Podestá from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute, Guillermo Salamon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Lamberto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Faustino Ferrando showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Virgilio Arlo sped through ANGELES XENEIZES's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melchor Valente. If Ruperto Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Virgilio Arlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Virgilio Arlo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melchor Valente. ANGELES XENEIZES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgilio Arlo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. If Virgilio Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Lamberto made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Faustino Ferrando sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle went the supporters of ANGELES XENEIZES were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Villa Podestá side.
