Nicasio Ostargi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aureliano Ermano having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Aires during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Instituto ACC's Felix Aires got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Instituto ACC's zone, Aquiles Inocente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Ermano came out of the goal and Aquiles Inocente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hector Teyo charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Teyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes LIMON FC got a freekick which was hit by Hector Teyo. Szymon Trzenzalski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eulalio Acuña showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Arnulfo Felipo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Instituto ACC's zone, Hector Teyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Ermano came out of the goal and Hector Teyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicasio Ostargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Ermano having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eulalio Acuña made a kick off. Szymon Trzenzalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Eudoxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Szymon Trzenzalski came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Instituto ACC's Eulalio Acuña. But to his dismay, Eulalio Acuña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Felipo in the 68th minute of play forced LIMON FC's goalkeeper Szymon Trzenzalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Instituto ACC's Eulalio Acuña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Szymon Trzenzalski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Instituto ACC's Aureliano Ermano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Instituto ACC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Instituto ACC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Arnulfo Felipo hit a great ball. After 95 minutes of play, Instituto ACC's Felix Aires made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Szymon Trzenzalski was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Instituto ACC had won after a very even match.
