Modorra FC's Astor Filipo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Modorra FC from getting a goal against them. Fausto Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Barbosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Astor Filipo came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnaldo Barbosa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Florinio got free with Astor Filipo in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clemente Sanduru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Jerrold in the 30th minute of play. Domingo Cristos hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Astor Filipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Astor Filipo made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Astor Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Florinio in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Sarmiento FC. Matias Isidor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Astor Filipo. 2-0. Fausto Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Astor Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Florinio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Filipo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Barbosa in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astor Filipo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the game, Modorra FC's Domingo Cristos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Sanduru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After having played for 76 minutes, Gualterio Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Modorra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Jerrold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astor Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Barbosa in the 80th minute of play. Arnaldo Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astor Filipo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Fausto Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualterio Jerrold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Sanduru having to interfere. Astor Filipo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Barbosa went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
