Petronila AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Epifanio Karlo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Baltasar Nevada came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Sauce AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Nevada couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Calixto in the 18th minute of play forced Sauce AFC's goalkeeper Cristian Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Calixto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Cristian Cutberto throw himself and got hold of the ball when Clemente Calixto in the 21stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Petronila AFC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Sauce AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Furman took the corner. A collision led to Sauce AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Israel Lluques hit a great ball. Generoso Birjaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Nevada in the 28th minute of the match. Generoso Birjaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astor Lorien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cristian Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Lorien got free with Cristian Cutberto in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 38 minutes, Clemente Calixto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Petronila AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Calixto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st match minute, Sauce AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Lluques to maneuver through the defense. Petronila AFC's Astor Lorien got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Astor Lorien came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Petronila AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Lorien couldn't finish the play. In the 49th minute, Epifanio Karlo made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Birjaio. Petronila AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Calixto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sauce AFC's Inocencio Turi got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Astor Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Lorien in the 67th minute of play forced Sauce AFC's goalkeeper Cristian Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Clemente Calixto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Calixto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Nevada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Calixto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 93 played minutes Sauce AFC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Monte. 94 minutes into the match, Sauce AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Lorien came free, but Cristian Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Lorien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Petronila AFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
