Carlos Inguma kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Acostilla's Eugenio Lazcano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Nerio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eugenio Lazcano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elpidio Nerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Higinio Ciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prospero Lorenz came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ildefonso Berdaitz could save by the left post. If Higinio Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes, Patricio Orlondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acostilla and the BULL DOG players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernando Erasto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ildefonso Berdaitz. Acostilla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Acostilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Sabino to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Erasto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ildefonso Berdaitz. Acostilla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Prospero Lorenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ildefonso Berdaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Prospero Lorenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Berdaitz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Lazcano in the 56th minute of play forced BULL DOG's goalkeeper Elpidio Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Eugenio Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Nerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Romeo Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Lorenz in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Berdaitz saved Acostilla from getting behind. When Prospero Lorenz came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the BULL DOG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Lorenz couldn't finish the play. BULL DOG's Elpidio Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Lazcano in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes BULL DOG got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Chepe. Isidro Heli struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ildefonso Berdaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BULL DOG. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Gregorio Chepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. BULL DOG's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Chepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Berdaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Orlondo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Prospero Lorenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prospero Lorenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute.
