If Ladislao Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of LASPELOTAS booed when Sklatenn F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Nataniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 minutes, Teobaldo Alvarez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sklatenn F.C and the LASPELOTAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sklatenn F.C getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Teobaldo Alvarez hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in LASPELOTAS's zone, Nicolas Ignado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Jeraldo came out of the goal and Nicolas Ignado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Ignado scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Jeraldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Paolo Nataniel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgardo Jeraldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Edgardo Jeraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Ignado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Nicolas Ignado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgardo Jeraldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Freddy Oxel scored 0-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Jeraldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Cruz got free with Santos Gaxan in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelo Oto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgardo Jeraldo. LASPELOTAS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edgardo Jeraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Ignado in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Sklatenn F.C were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Freddy Oxel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sklatenn F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. 59 minutes into the game, Freddy Oxel lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Edgardo Jeraldo. Fausto Boniel's late challenge caught a Sklatenn F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Boniel helped the player get up and apologised. Freddy Oxel struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Edgardo Jeraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sklatenn F.C. Freddy Oxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in LASPELOTAS's zone, Nicolas Ignado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Jeraldo came out of the goal and Nicolas Ignado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adolfo Nesor kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Freddy Oxel struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Edgardo Jeraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sklatenn F.C. Nicolas Ignado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Edgardo Jeraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Sklatenn F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LASPELOTAS throughout the match.
