Korkut Özver didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Mark went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to LASPELOTAS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Adolfo Nesor hit a great ball. After 19 played minutes Gmo Brown got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Laffitte. Narciso Laffitte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Jeraldo having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Edgard Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gmo Brown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Gimenez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narciso Laffitte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Edgardo Jeraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edgard Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Gmo Brown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Gimenez couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Gmo Brown booed when LASPELOTAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Fernanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Uriel Ekialde in the 30th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Edgardo Jeraldo's left hand side. Edgardo Jeraldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Laffitte's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, LASPELOTAS's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Laffitte came free, but Edgardo Jeraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Jeraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Laffitte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Jeraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Gimenez in the 43rd minute of play. Fausto Boniel's late challenge caught a Gmo Brown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Boniel helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes LASPELOTAS got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Boniel. 45 minutes into the match, LASPELOTAS's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Laffitte came free, but Edgardo Jeraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Mark to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Victorino Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot. LASPELOTAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Mark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korkut Özver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Narciso Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LASPELOTAS's Edgardo Jeraldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save LASPELOTAS from getting a goal against them. Gmo Brown's Korkut Özver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Cruz in the 61st minute of play. When LASPELOTAS's Ladislao Cruz in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gmo Brown's goalie prevented a goal. Korkut Özver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Mark in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Gmo Brown getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Igor Sandalio hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Prudencio Feliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ladislao Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Korkut Özver. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgard Gimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Jeraldo having to interfere. With a little luck, LASPELOTAS's Edgardo Jeraldo got control of the ball when Narciso Laffitte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Delmar Venceslao hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Edgardo Jeraldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Gimenez's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The supporters of LASPELOTAS booed when Gmo Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Aznar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Laffitte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Edgardo Jeraldo made a huge save. Many of Gmo Brown's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Gmo Brown may have spent more time on the ball, but LASPELOTAS were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
