With a little luck, Apolo SFC's Romeo Primeiro got control of the ball when Bruno Eufemio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romeo Primeiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bruno Eufemio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Choiqué's Evelio Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Remigio Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remigio Perico was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Apolo SFC's zone, Evelio Rito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Primeiro came out of the goal and Evelio Rito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gogo Bladi hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Romeo Primeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Rito in the 56th minute of the match. Remigio Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Lohitzun having to interfere. German Honesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Celestino Lohitzun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Arnoldo Basualdo fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 99th minute of the match Choiqué got a corner. Apolo SFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag.
