The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Mosconi FC's zone, Bruno Eufemio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Eguen came out of the goal and Bruno Eufemio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Eufemio in the 7th minute of play forced Mosconi FC's goalkeeper Fermin Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carlos Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Choiqué's Celestino Lohitzun got control of the ball when Carlos Baldovino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 played minutes Choiqué got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Corderall. 14 minutes into the game, one of Choiqué:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 25th minute, Evaristo Corderall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Baldovino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Celestino Lohitzun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Mosconi FC booed when Choiqué was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Baldovino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Celestino Lohitzun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Alonzo Iraitz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celestino Lohitzun, 2-0. Celestino Lohitzun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Iraitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Mosconi FC's Carlos Baldovino got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Mendez hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute, Mosconi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Iraitz to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Eufemio in the 43rd minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Choiqué's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Iraitz came free, but Celestino Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evelio Rito was the one to do the kick off. Bruno Eufemio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Fermin Eguen made a huge save. Carlos Baldovino scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celestino Lohitzun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Alonzo Iraitz notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Choiqué's Celestino Lohitzun. Celestino Lohitzun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fermin Eguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Choiqué's Candido Casado got a free kick in the 76th minute. Saverio Bartoli got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 83rd match minute, Mosconi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Bartoli to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Rito's late challenge caught a Mosconi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Rito helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Evelio Rito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Baldovino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Lohitzun having to interfere. Alonzo Iraitz hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. 99 minutes into the match, Choiqué's Edgardo Enol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Choiqué players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mosconi FC.
