Florencio Luzaide kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Claudio Firme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Felipe Jakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Firme hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ASO FC's Teo Abechuco got a free kick in the 29th minute. Bartolo Xacintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Alfredo Remir made a huge save. In the 36th minute of the match, Tiburcio Itzaina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfredo Remir saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Club 57's Florencio Luzaide got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Claudio Firme got free in front of the goal in the 39th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Felipe Jakes was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Florencio Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Club 57's goalkeeper Alfredo Remir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolo Xacintu. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Alfredo Remir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Claudio Firme might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Jakes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Firme ran back to his position shaking his head. When Club 57's Dionisio Eder in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ASO FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 74 played minutes Club 57 got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Firme. When Claudio Firme got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Club 57. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Xacintu in the 83rd minute of play forced Club 57's goalkeeper Alfredo Remir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Remir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Itzaina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Club 57's Claudio Firme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Jakes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Club 57 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
