Niupi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Ekaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Niupi FC's Aquiles Giraldo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enzo Buinton. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Aquiles Giraldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Enzo Buinton made a huge save. 25 minutes into the game, Niupi FC's Aquiles Giraldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Buinton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to Monasterio FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jorge Kusko hit a great ball. The supporters of Monasterio FC booed when Niupi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Urbasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquiles Giraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Enzo Buinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 36th minute, but Enzo Buinton got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Monasterio FC hanging dry this time. Cornelio Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Enzo Buinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Monasterio FC's goalkeeper Enzo Buinton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Ekaitz. In the 43rd minute, Mauricio Ekaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Niupi FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Monasterio FC:s goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 51 minutes, Lisandro Aurken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monasterio FC and the Niupi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lisandro Aurken hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Aquiles Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Buinton having to interfere. Enzo Buinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Aquiles Giraldo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Monasterio FC's Enzo Buinton. Enzo Buinton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Monasterio FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Miguel Romelio struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Enzo Buinton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niupi FC. In the 83rd minute, Everardo Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauricio Ekaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Enzo Buinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquiles Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
