Octavio Eyague received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Godofredo Kemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aaron Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Gregorio Iratxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godofredo Kemen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Octavio Eyague showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 22nd minute Octavio Eyague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Kemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Panpili couldn't finish the play. Tiburcio Raitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Selmo in the 36th minute of the match. Tiburcio Raitin came out of the goal and Leonardo Selmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Leonardo Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glaciar's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Selmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Raitin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Selmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Raitin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Selmo ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes in the game, Dionisio Panpili fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tiburcio Raitin having to interfere. Aaron Luar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Kemen having to interfere. Anacleto Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anacleto Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, one of newell´s old boys:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for newell´s old boys. The goalkeeper, Tiburcio Raitin, was totally fooled by Glaciar's Tobias Ederono, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 93 minutes, Dionisio Panpili made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. newell´s old boys's Tiburcio Raitin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
