Brinkmann's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Innocenzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Daniel Txatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Anselmo Papo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huascha's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Papo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Pacorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Brinkmann getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Froilan Gimenez hit a great ball. Miguel Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ruben Guter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Huascha defense, Miguel Innocenzio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Guter. The Huascha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Guter should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Brinkmann's Igor Pacorro got control of the ball when Narciso Hunfredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ildefonso Jerico charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Jerico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Huascha getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ildefonso Jerico hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Lando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Guter. Huascha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Lando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Innocenzio to make the kick off. Miguel Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ruben Guter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Ruben Guter successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Miguel Innocenzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Huascha getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eduardo Eate hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Brinkmann's Ruben Guter threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Innocenzio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Narciso Hunfredo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Huascha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Hunfredo couldn't finish the play. Igor Pacorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Papo in the 72nd minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Brinkmann's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Papo came free, but Igor Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Narciso Hunfredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brinkmann's Igor Pacorro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Ciriaco Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Huascha's zone, Miguel Innocenzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Guter came out of the goal and Miguel Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Innocenzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Guter having to interfere. Basilio Rudolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Brinkmann booed when Huascha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Barrionuevo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Huascha fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brinkmann were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
