Clemente Pabla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villa Castells AFC's Ismael Dimo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ismael Dimo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Castells AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Dimo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Valerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Dimo was the one to do the kick off. Alfonso Abechuco hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Filomeno Lano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jose Mede. 61 minutes into the match, Villa Castells AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Txartiko came free, but Filomeno Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Pabla hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ismael Dimo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Dimo in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roque Valerio saved Deportivo Merlo from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Villa Castells AFC had played much better football throughout.
